I'm a woman engineer, and most of my career I've been the first or only woman on the team. I've had to prove my self over and over to people who don't get it, and think they know better.

Customer service - good customer service has been a passion of mine since my Grandmother had me helping out the "Basement Women" or Ladies Circles at the local church - you know serving meals and such.

Keep a cool head, listen and find a solution that works for most everyone, or at least get you on your best next steps or options.

When the time came, I taught myself all these things of the online world. (I'd been a pretty successful Systems Engineer before this and thought "I should know how to do this." I didn't and I had to swollow some humble pie and let a teenager teach me how to build my first site.

After that I taught myself how to build websites, connect shopping carts and email systems build funnels and more... all before there was automation for them. I wasn't born into it, It wasn't here when I went to school, it came after I graduated, I had to teach myself.

I get it and I've had plenty of bad hair days so you don't have to.
